EPICA Singer Films 'This Is The Time' Video

On March 9, EPICA singer Simone Simons was in Hilversum, The Netherlands filming a video for the song "This Is The Time", which was written for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). A short preview clip can be viewed below.

For more than 45 years, WWF has been protecting the future of nature. The world's leading conservation organization, WWF works in 100 countries and is supported by 1.2 million members in the United States and close to 5 million globally. WWF's unique way of working combines global reach with a foundation in science, involves action at every level from local to global, and ensures the delivery of innovative solutions that meet the needs of both people and nature.

Video footage of EPICA's Simone Simons and Isaac Delahaye performing an acoustic version of "This Is The Time" during a fan-club meeting on October 9, 2009 at Escape in Veenendaal, The Netherlands can be viewed below.

EPICA will celebrate the five-year anniversary of its sophomore album, "Consign To Oblivion", by performing the CD in its entirety tonight (Sunday, March 21) at Effenaar in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The band states, "This might be your last chance to hear all of the songs of that album played live in one show! It will also be a show with special guests and special effects in the original 'Consign To Oblivion' setting. On top of that there, will be a special offer on 'Consign' merchandise."

Keyboardist Coen Janssen was forced to sit out EPICA's recent North American headlining tour because of "personal reasons." He was replaced by Simone's boyfriend Oliver Palotai (KAMELOT, SONS OF SEASONS, DORO).

EPICA's latest album, "Design Your Universe", landed at position No. 12 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
